Balboa Park Cultural Partnership, CA

An engaging and interactive GIS-based solution was developed to enhance visitor experiences at Balboa Park. The project included the creation of a StoryMap featuring a guided tour of key points of interest and an interactive web map showcasing park facilities, such as restaurants, attractions, and museums, with descriptive text and detailed information. An editable Web App was designed to allow BPCP staff to verify and update the precise locations of facilities within buildings. Functionality was also integrated to enable users to view their current location relative to points of interest within the park, providing a seamless and user-friendly navigation experience.
