Evari GIS Consulting, Inc. seeks to hire project-based full-time employees to support the audit and conversion of approximately 150,000 street lights under a contract with Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E). Employees will collect GIS data about existing streetlight fixtures in order to correct municipal electric bills and support installation of energy efficient replacement LED fixtures. We are especially interested in college graduate entry-level GIS professionals who enjoy learning, have a strong work ethic, are interested in energy efficiency/infrastructure projects and seek to gain experience to further their careers in GIS. New hires will be trained by and work alongside our team of experienced street light auditors.
The geographic scope of the work is across PG&E territory. Employees are required to travel and live at the location of the audit. Lodging and rental cars are provided. Evari GIS completes similar work around the United States. Successful employees will likely also be offered the opportunity to work in other locations as additional work comes in.

Evari seeks a Business Development and Marketing Lead (BD Lead) to continue Evari’s growth into the future. The BD Lead is responsible for all work leading up to the signing of contracts, including both recurring revenue from existing clients (farming) and acquiring new customers (hunting). The BD Lead is responsible for responding to opportunities as either a prime and subcontractor as well as traditional, internet and social media marketing efforts. It is critical that the BD Lead understand the capabilities of the Evari GIS team in order to pursue and win work which the Evari team can successfully complete. He/She should understand the markets Evari works within, have foresight to identify new markets and the ability to direct appropriate BD resources toward capturing those markets.
